Students seeking a master’s degree in museum studies will receive world class training for professional careers in museums, historical societies, and related agencies. Founded in 1964, the Cooperstown Graduate Program provides a strong academic base in community engagement, research, American material culture and history, museum administration, education, exhibitions and collections. Combined with practical experience and day-to-day contact with our local museums and communities, this training ensures our graduates are well prepared to meet the challenges facing today’s cultural institutions.
