Old Westbury offers 12 graduate degree programs in education. To prepare teachers for careers in middle and high school education, the College offers both Master of Arts in Teaching and Master of Science programs in Adolescence Education in the following disciplines:

The Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) leads to initial certification for aspiring teachers and career-changers seeking to advance their careers. The Master of Science (M.S.) leads to professional certification, and is for those who hold initial or provisional teaching certification.
Each M.A.T. and M.S. program is designed using integrated course work focused on providing graduates with both the teaching skills and subject mastery needed to provide excellent instruction at the secondary level.
