Program Description:
Located just outside of New York City, New Paltz offers the best of both worlds: access to cutting edge artists, critics and curators and spacious, hi-tech facilities and studios. The intensive two-year studio program includes degrees in ceramics, panting and drawing, printmaking, metals and sculpture. The Art Department faculty are more than committed teachers, they are practicing artists with significant national reputations. New Paltz is regularly included among the best schools in the North East and its Metals/Jewelry has consistently been ranked as the best in the nation. Significant financial and tuition waivers are competitively awarded to students.
