Program Description:
The College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Professions at St. John’s offers a Master of Science degree in Toxicology that prepares students for careers in research, academia, regulatory agencies and industry.
Students may choose between a thesis or non-thesis track. The thesis track requires completion 30 credits in coursework and six credits in thesis research. The non-thesis track requires 30 to 36 credits in coursework and a comprehensive examination.
Coursework covers a broad range of disciplines. Students have the chance to conduct research with award-winning faculty who are experts in such fields as pulmonary toxicology, neurotoxicology, analytical toxicology, environmental toxicology, renal toxicology, molecular toxicology, pesticides and pharmaceuticals.
