Program Description:

Through the 39-credit Master of Professional Studies (M.P.S.) in Sport Management, St. John’s prepares students for positions of leadership in this dynamic, increasingly international field.

The program offers two tracks—a Coaching Leadership Specialization and an International Dimensions of Sport Specialization—that provide students with the knowledge, skills and understanding to excel in vital areas including media relations, advertising and sales promotion, marketing, financial management, facilities management and coaching.

Reflecting St. John’s increasingly global reach, the program assumes a broad international perspective that draws upon the University’s campuses in Rome, Italy, and Paris, France. In addition, professors are noted scholar-practitioners with strong ties to athletic and recreational organizations around the world.
