Program Description:

The College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Professions at St. John’s offers a Master of Science degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a specialization in Pharmacology. The program encompasses a broad range of disciplines that prepare students for research or regulatory responsibilities in the pharmaceutical industry, government or academia.

Students benefit from the outstanding reputation and resources of the College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Professions at St. John’s, one of the nation’s leading collegiate schools of its kind. Professors are funded by grants from the National Institutes of Health as well as other government and private agencies.

The M.S. degree program features a thesis (30-credit) or non-thesis (36-credit) option. The Ph.D. program consists of a minimum of 60 credits beyond the bachelor’s degree (30 credits beyond the master’s degree) and completion of a dissertation.
