Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology
The Ph.D. degree program in Clinical Psychology at St. John’s draws students from across the country and around the world. The program prepares students for success in the varied professional, academic and research roles performed by clinical psychologists.
The program offers two tracks toward the doctoral degree—a general clinical track or a clinical child track. Both tracks require four years of full-time coursework with related field experience, followed by a fifth year of practicum experience and completion of a dissertation.
