Program Description:
St. John’s offers a Master of Science degree in Biological and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology that prepares students for rewarding careers in this fast-growing industry.
Pharmaceutical biotechnology draws upon such disciplines as microbiology, biochemistry and molecular and cellular biology. Offered through the University’s Institute of Biotechnology, the program comprises interdisciplinary courses from the College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Professions and St. John’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences — two acclaimed divisions of St. John’s University.
The 33-credit program includes a capstone internship in the field. Students are required to produce an oral and written report on their internship.
