Program Description:
The Master of Arts in College Student Development at St. Edward’s University emphasizes hands-on learning through practica, internships and research.
In this program, you’ll hone valuable insights to prepare for a career in higher education, including positions such as student life director, international studies adviser, academic adviser or residence life director. Graduates are also prepared to pursue doctoral studies for high-level administrative positions at colleges or universities.
Classes meet on campus every other Saturday, with an online component during the off weeks, making classes convenient for those working full-time and for those commuting from outside the Austin area. Taking two classes each semester, the MACSD is typically completed in two years.
