The Sport Management and Recreation program is designed to prepare students for career opportunities within the sport industry such as facilities/arena management; professional sport management; sporting goods companies; management of resorts, private club, and camps; governmental agencies; sport marketing organizations, youth and community agencies, the armed forces, and many more. The graduate program in the Department of Sport Management and Recreation provides preparation for recreation professionals in leadership, supervisory, and management positions.
