Program Description:
The mission of the Masters in Speech-Language Pathology Program is to prepare competent consumers who will become certified and licensed speech-language pathologists for a diverse society to provide public service to local, state, national, and international communities regarding persons with communication disorders across the lifespan; provide ethical service delivery to a broad spectrum of cultural and linguistically diverse populations in employment settings such as schools and other educational institutions, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, nursing homes, community clinics, private practice as well as in a variety of other related agencies; and advocate for persons and their families with communication disorders and provide them with the adequate resources in order to enhance the quality of life.
