Program Description:

The online Graduate Certificate in Technical Communication program prepares students for a variety of positions in technical communication. It also helps current technical communicators update and expand their knowledge and skills, enabling them to move ahead in their profession. The certificate also allows those new to the field to explore the possibility of a career in technical and professional communication.
Certificate students complete all of the courses online. Courses from other institutions cannot be counted towards the graduate certificate in technical communication. The program requires these three courses: Technical Writing and Editing, Foundations of Graphics, Information Design. Students who have successfully completed the Graduate Certificate in Technical Communication program are eligible to apply for one of the advanced certificates or the master's degree program.
