Program Description:

The Graduate Certificate in Information Technology (GCIT) offered by Southern Polytechnic University prepares individuals who hold an accredited bachelor's degree and have completed the Graduate Transition Certificate in Information Technology (GTCIT) or the equivalent through other coursework to advance their knowledge in the field of information technology. The GCIT prepares individuals to work in the IT field with topics in design, acquisition, project management, IT and the law, and other current IT subjects. Students are expected to have completed course work in information technology prior to taking this certificate.
