Program Description:

The safety and wholesome-ness of foods are of the greatest importance in maintaining the health ofconsumers. In order to ensure that foods are safe to eat, manufactured efficiently and economically, andcomply with the growing level of statutory requirements, it is necessary to impose strict controls on all aspects of production, storage and distribution. As a result, there is an increasing need for appropriatelytrained personnel to participate in and manage all aspects of food handling and its regulation. This courseis intended to provide graduates with the necessary knowledge and skills to take on demanding roles in awide range of food control activities while gaining an internationally recognised qualification.
