With a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology degree from Sofia University, you will have the education and training to become a clinician skilled in whole-person approaches to health and healing. In addition, you will learn to care for your own growth and well-being in a supportive, collaborative atmosphere.
The MACP program meets education requirements for licensing for both marriage and family therapists (LMFT) and licensed professional clinical counselors (LPCC), as established by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. Sofia University’s master of arts in counseling psychology program also offers you the following:

Sofia University’s comprehensive MACP program is offered in two delivery modalities with three different choices to fit your lifestyle. All formats offer an optional specialization in Creative Expression.
Accelerated On-Campus Daytime MACP (2 years)
This on-campus day program allows you to complete your degree in just two years, including summer sessions.
On-Campus Daytime MACP (3 years)
This on-campus day program that allows you to complete your degree in three years.
On-Campus Evening MACP (3 years)
Students are required to attend class on campus twice a week in the evenings with regular online components.
You can complete this program in three years while remaining engaged with work or other daytime activities.
Hybrid: Face-to-Face/Online MACP (3 years)
With just two on-campus intensives per year and the rest of the coursework online, you can complete this three-year program without relocating.
