Program Description:

This online program enables students who are interested in teaching children with disabilities in the public schools to receive the Special Education (N-12) Teaching Certificate. This program is designed for graduate students who presently hold a valid Pennsylvania Elementary Education Certificate and who desire to have it extended to include Special Education. Students who have a valid Pennsylvania Secondary Teaching Certificate are also eligible for the program, if they hold certification in a core area.
