Program Description:
The graduate program, leading to the degree of the Master of Life and Environmental Science, offers advanced courses in forest ecology, silviculture, forest planning, forest evaluation, forest economics, forest erosion control, forest engineering, wood technology and seminars in current topics. The work is designed to develop the broad knowledge, analytical ability, and technical skills demanded of leaders in forestry and related resource disciplines. To complete a research thesis which the students choose for the degree, they work mainly in the experimental forest of the university.
