Program Description:
The Master in Arts degree in History from Seton Hall University is designed for primary, middle, and secondary school teachers interested in an advanced degree in their field, as well as librarians and other professionals desiring a second advanced degree. It also provides a solid basis for those interested in continuing in a doctoral program. The program provides professional training in the historians' craft, an option for either writing a thesis or taking a comprehensive exam for completion of the degree. It accommodates a wide range of interests allowing students to concentrate in one of four areas: American, European, Catholic, or Global history.
