Program Description:
The MIT program prepares students to teach in an elementary or secondary school setting. This full-time program allows students to earn a master's degree and initial certification in four quarters. Candidates for elementary certification (K-8) must have a strong liberal arts undergraduate degree. Candidates for secondary certification (4-12) must hold a degree with an academic major corresponding to a certifiable area specified by the state of Washington. This program features multiple field experiences with strong supervisory support, peer collaboration and team approaches.
