Program Description:
The community health clinical nurse specialist track focuses on advanced nursing care of vulnerable populations. This track is designed to improve the health of communities by developing graduates who will offer service to vulnerable groups and disseminate knowledge in community health nursing, health education, health promotion, research, program development, and consultation. In addition to course work, students have field experiences in community based settings to meet the students individual needs. Graduates are eligible to sit for national certification.
