Program Description:
With a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Systems/Leadership and Organization Development (LOD), you will gain in-depth knowledge, practical experience and the opportunity to blend systemic organizational tools with solid consulting and coaching skills.
• Two year program
• Students attend residential conferences in Seattle (7 each year plus 4 mini conferences in the first year)
• Cohort learning community with a self-contained curriculum.
• Participation required in two client-based practicums – a team project the first year; individual project during the second year.
LIOS focuses on the development of the self as practitioner as well as creatively engaging in relationships with clients and colleagues. You will learn about organizational systems and how they work most effectively; coaching models and processes; effective organizational membership; and creating healthy, sustainable change.
Whether you choose to serve within an organization or maintain an independent practice, you will increase your leadership effectiveness, your emotional intelligence and your ability to facilitate change. Graduates of the LIOS Organizational Systems program are widely recruited as leaders, managers, coaches and organization development practitioners by businesses and consulting firms.
