Program Description:
Saybrook's clinical psychology programs are specifically focused on the knowledge, experience, and practical skills students will need to directly enter the profession as licensed therapists. This includes core courses, hands-on training at conferences, and close mentoring from faculty who are active and experienced in the field.
Additionally, Saybrook students have access to electives on existential and mind-body medicine therapeutic techniques taught by leaders in those fields. From courses on therapy throughout the lifespan to medical hypnosis and biofeedback, Saybrook faculty can help students who want to develop a specialized practice or area of expertise get the skills and knowledge they need to be recognized as exceptional.

Marriage and Family Therapy specialization is designed to meet the requirements of the California laws and regulations relating to the practice of Marriage and Family Therapy sections 4980.37 and 4980.4040 and the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
Eligibility Requirements:
Bachelors degree from a regionally accredited institution for MA. Bachelors and master's degree from a regionally accredited institution for PhD. Recommended GPA of 3.0.
