Program Description:

The Conservatory offers a course of advanced study in conducting. Private instruction, rehearsal, and performances in conjunction with the Conservatory Orchestra and other Conservatory ensembles constitute the core of the program. To be accepted into the Master of Music in Conducting program, an applicant must satisfy one of the following requirements: 1) have completed an undergraduate degree in conducting or instrumental or vocal performance, or 2) show equivalent competence on a musical instrument.
