Program Description:
We are very pleased to
offer an exciting MA program in French and Francophone literary and
cultural studies. Research areas of the graduate faculty cover most
periods of French and Francophone literatures and cultures. In
particular, the department includes several specialists in Francophone
studies focusing on North, Central and West Africa, the Caribbean, and
Quebec. It also includes scholars specializing in Medieval and
Renaissance cultural studies, eighteenth and twentieth-century
literature, gender and sexuality studies, translation, and Second
Language Acquisition and Technology.
Furthermore, we offer our graduate students the opportunity to gain
