Program Description:

St. Louis University offers a combined M.D/Ph.D. program, currently admitting two-four students per year to the year 1 medical school class. The program is designed for students interested in research careers in medicine and whose undergraduate education placed emphasis on experimental science. Financial support in the form of tuition remission and a living expense stipend will be provided for the first two years of medical school and throughout the entire Ph.D. portion of the program. In addition $2,000 to $3,000 will be provided during summer laboratory rotations required in the first two years of the program, depending on duration of the summer research effort.
