Program Description:

The Department of Pathology is a member of the Graduate Programs in Biomedical Sciences at Saint Louis University. A first year Core Graduate Program includes discussions of scientific literature and laboratory rotations preparing students for entry into a specific program such as Pathology. The Pathology Department actively integrates research into the mechanisms of diseases at the genetic, molecular, and cellular levels with clinical activities. While ensuring an increasing understanding of human diseases, this provides the foundation for further developments in diagnosis and therapy.
