Overview:
In the MBA in Digital Media Management program, you’ll explore new media business and legal issues and master the skills for managing digital content creation and distribution. In your final semester of the Digital Media degree, you’ll conduct research, analyze financial statements and complete a comprehensive marketing analysis and business plan for a real multimedia enterprise.
As a digital media manager, you could work in all areas of the digital entertainment field, including, but not limited to, the music, interactive gaming and film industries. However, as digital distribution becomes increasingly common throughout all commerce, digital management opportunities are almost unlimited, especially those connected to digital marketing.

In addition to core business courses comprising a traditional MBA degree, students complete essential program-specific courses including Digital Law, Branding and Promotion, The Digital Consumer, Information Systems, Interactive Technology and E-Commerce, New Venture Creation, Global Digital Media, and Applied Digital Convergence and Evolution.
INTERNSHIP
The Digital Media degree requires an eight-week summer internship with a digital media company, working closely with industry professionals.

CAPSTONE PROJECT
Your final course, a Capstone, is a comprehensive project that combines knowledge and skills learned throughout the program. You’ll team up with fellow students on a strategic project for a digital media enterprise — and create a solid résumé builder.
You’ll conduct research, analyze business plans, examine financial statements and create a comprehensive business plan to present to professors and media executives. Past Capstone projects have included projects for:
