Program Description:

The Linguistics graduate program at Rutgers/NB provides professional training in the core areas of modern theoretical linguistics, as well as the opportunity to study with faculty in the Cognitive Science Center. Faculty interests include Optimality Theory, Minimalism, the syntax- semantics and phonology-syntax interfaces, and language interests include Yoruba, Hindi, Haitian, Hebrew, Mohawk, Greenlandic, Germanic, and Romance.
