Program Description:

The newly consolidated graduate programs in molecular biosciences at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey - Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences (located at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School) consist of seven doctoral programs in biochemistry and molecular biology, cell and developmental biology, cellular and molecular pharmacology and microbiology and molecular genetics. Students are admitted to the programs through a consolidated committee and undertake a common first-year doctoral core curriculum.
