Program Description:
The Department of Agricultural, Food & Resource Economics at Rutgers University offers a M.S. program in Food & Business Economics. This graduate program has been designed as an issue-oriented and problem-solving program with high level of quantitative and analytical skills focusing on the following sectors: food and agriculture, biotechnology and pharmaceuticals, and financial industries that support these above sectors. An exceptional feature of this graduate program is that students can take courses outside the department, such as at Rutgers University Business School and Princeton University, as well as get credit for practical internship. Most of our graduates go on to work as professionals in the financial and pharmaceutical sectors as highly sought research analysts while others pursue their doctoral programs in prestigious universities around the country.
