Program Information

Degree Offered

M.S.-Health Systems Management

Format: Campus

Program Description:

A Master of Science in Health Systems Management at Rush University will allow you to attain the knowledge, skills and abilities in all facets of health care management - including finance, operations, quality, strategy and marketing, organizational change, and human resources management - required to be a leader in the field, from a program that's consistently ranked as one of the best in the nation by both US News & World Report and Modern Healthcare. The program is accredited by CAHME, a National Center for Healthcare Leadership demonstration site, a full member of AUPHA, and classes are taught in a world class medical center using Rush's unique practitioner-teacher model. First year students work in real, part-time, paid management jobs at Rush University Medical Center while taking classes. Students graduate with both a master's degree and the valuable work experience necessary to step into desirable management positions or prestigious post-graduate fellowships immediately upon graduation. Full-time and part-time options for study are available but classes are held on-campus, in the afternoon.
