Program Description:

This program is a great next step in your pursuit of a career in biomedical sciences and medicine. In fact, most of our biotechnology students do go on to earn advanced degrees in science (PhD) or medicine (MD, DDS, DO or PharmD), or to work in academic laboratories and biotechnology and pharmaceutical organizations.

This accelerated, nine-month program will provide you with excellent preparation and training for your future career. During your time at Rush University, you will be challenged with many different learning opportunities that will provide you a solid science and laboratory educational foundation and prepare you for whatever you choose to do next in the biomedical field. The courses in the biotechnology program are designed for discovery and range from core biomedical science classes, laboratory practica and experimental design, to communications and biomedical research strategies.
