Program Description:
The School Psychology program is divided into two programs, the Masters of Arts in School Psychology, and the Educational Specialist Degree, each having distinct admissions criteria. Admission to the M.A. program does not guarantee admission to the Ed.S. program. Completion of the Master of Arts in School Psychology provides a background in the theories, major knowledge and methodological procedures in psychology. This program (or its equivalent) is required for admission into the Educational Specialist program. The MA and EdS in School Psychology combine to meet the requirements for NJ Department of Education certification in School Psychology.
