Program Description:

This program provides comprehensive preparation to gain skills in counseling and student services in an educational or social service setting. The master's program leads to the M.A. degree and certification by the State of New Jersey in Student Personnel Services (for those who have a regular instructional certificate and a minimum of one year of successful teaching experience). An additional curriculum is available for students with a liberal arts background who are not seeking certification.
