Program Description:

The M.A. in Higher Education program has two tracks; one for higher education administration and one for a selected number of teaching specializations.


* Administrative Track-The administrative track is designed to serve both those without any experience in higher education administration who are interested in careers in that field as well as those who are already practicing administrators in a college or university who wish to upgrade their skills.

* Instructional Track-The instructional track is intended to serve those individuals who seek adjunct or full time instructor positions primarily at a two-year college in the following disciplines: reading, mathematics, computer science and English as a Second Language (ESL). Limited opportunities to pursue specializations in biology or chemistry and physics are also available.
