Program Description:

The main focus of the programme is on contemporary urban and regional restructuring in Europe. It is aNordic programme which draws on capacities and competence from four Universities in the Nordiccountries with a view to broadening financial and teaching resources. While the participants aredepartments of Human Geography, the programme is cross-disciplinary in its approach to the subject. On this background, the programme comprises theoretical and methodological questions in the study ofurban and regional problems and treats economic, political, social and cultural dimensions ofdevelopment as they are produced and reproduced in a spatial context.
