Program Description:

The M.D./Ph.D. Program exemplifies the University's deep commitment to the training of future physician-scientists for a career in academic medicine and biomedical research. To achieve this goal, the Program is sponsored by both The Chicago Medical School and the School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. The Ph.D. degree may be obtained in any one of the following disciplines: Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Cell Biology and Anatomy, Cellular and Molecular Pharmacology, Microbiology and Immunology, Neuroscience, or Physiology and Biophysics. Students interested in interdisciplinary research will find ample opportunities in our University.
