The Feinstein College of Arts and Sciences at Roger Williams University is proud to offer a new degree program—a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology.
The master's program at Roger Williams University will train you for practice in clinical settings such as mental health centers, mental health hospitals, school departments, state and local welfare agencies and private practice, or to pursue advanced training at the doctoral level.
You will learn how to conduct psychological tests, explore various treatment methods, strengthen your research methodology skills, and become knowledgeable in psychopathology and clinical diagnosis.
Students complete practical experiences in areas including:
* Methods of Psychotherapy
* Cross Cultural Psychotherapy
* Assessment in Criminal Law
* Group Counseling
* Advanced Personality Psychotherapy
Research-based internships are also possible for those students who are interested in preparing for further study at the doctoral level.
