Program Description:

The master of science in management is a specialized program designed to provide students with the knowledge and problem-solving skills needed to function effectively in a variety of management positions in complex organizations that are impacted by technological change and globalization. Students choose between two tracks: technology management or global management. After taking several courses in research tools, the program culminates with a two course thesis or practicum. The program is available on a full-time or part-time basis. Full time students must begin studies in the fall quarter only to complete the program in one year. Part-time students may enter the program in any quarter. The program is available on campus only. The MS Finance graduate program requires 48 quarter credit hours and consists of 12 courses including a thesis or practicum.


RIT's E. Philip Saunders College of Business undergraduate and graduate programs are fully accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB), the premier accrediting organization for business schools. Only about one quarter of the institutions granting business degrees have received this accreditation.

International Student Requirements:

International applicants must submit the results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum score of 580 (paper-based), 237 (computer-based), or 92 (Internet-based) as part of the application. The TOEFL requirement is waived for native speakers of English and for those submitting transcripts and diplomas from American undergraduate schools.
