Program Description:

The Regis University online Master of Education (M.Ed.) program is designed for educators in public and private schools who are seeking professional growth and development opportunities and wish to complete their graduate studies in a distance format. Designed by practicing professionals, the M. Ed. program was developed in response to the critical need for creative educators with strong leadership skills. Consistent with the Regis Mission, students in this program are challenged to develop the skills and leadership abilities necessary for distinguished professional work and contributions to the improvement and transformation of society. The Regis University online Master of Education Degree is a 12 class, 36-credit hour program that can be completed in as little as two years. Students can choose an emphasis in Professional Educator, Professional Leadership, which includes two areas of specialization, Curriculum Instruction and Assessment, Space Studies or Self Designed. Teachers not wishing to complete an entire degree can take up to nine credit hours as a non-degree-seeking student-ideal for teachers needing to earn Continuing Education Units.
