Program Description:

The School Counseling concentration is designed for students interested in becoming professional counselors and working in elementary, middle and secondary schools.The Student Affairs concentration educates future student affairs administrators, student development educators, and counselors who are skilled in assessing and promoting student growth and development in the context of higher education.The Community Counseling concentration is designed to provide knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for counselors to work in a variety of community settings, including mental health centers, substance abuse programs, marriage and family clinics, career counseling agencies, and employee assistance programs in business and industry.
