Financial statements and disclosures are increasingly difficult to decipher, and individuals once content with mutual funds are looking to hedge funds for additional diversification benefits and potentially higher returns. As institutions, corporations, and individual investors attempt to navigate these increasingly complex financial waters, the chartered financial analyst (CFA) has become a critical player.
Quinnipiac's MBA-CFA track helps position you to take your place in the competitive world of finance. The CFA designation is an internationally recognized professional accreditation that attests to the charter holder's success in a rigorous and comprehensive program of study in investment management and research analysis. In order to earn their CFA, candidates must pass exams administered by the CFA Institute and meet all CFA Institute eligibility requirements. Currently, over 60,000 financial professionals from over 115 different countries hold the designation. Many investment related jobs now require the CFA and the emphasis on the designation is growing.
