Program Description:

Purdue Agronomy offers research areas: Genetic Improvement of Economic Crops, Cropping Systems and Plant Nutrition, Environmental Soils and Landscape Processes, and Turf and the Urban Environment. Purdue Agronomy provides highly competitive fellowships and assistantships in research and teaching that include tuition waivers. We also provide state-of-the-art facilities, including newly renovated laboratories and greenhouses, and numerous field research facilities located strategically around the state. Purdue University is located in West Lafayette, Indiana. The Lafayette-West Lafayette area is one hour northwest of Indianapolis and two hours southeast of Chicago.
