Program Description:
This interdisciplinary Center utilizes photonic materials, devices, systems and technologies to address a wide range of applications from biotech and communications to imaging, organic displays and nanotechnology. The Center has substantial multi-user facilities with sophisticated equipment, and encourages interaction between academic researchers and industry and government scientists. The program includes faculty and students from Chemistry, Chem. Eng., Computer Sci., EE, Mech. and Aerospace, Molecular Biology, and Physics.
