Program Description:

Opportunities to combine theory and practice have been an integral part of the ART and DESIGN EDUCATION program since its beginnings over 90 years ago. In 1994, we inaugurated the Master of Science in Art and Design Education and the Bachelor of Fine Arts/Master of Science in Art and Design Education dual degree. This master's degree is one of the first graduate programs to offer design education. It is open to individuals from the worlds of art, design, and architecture. This wide range of experience and knowledge brought by students to the classroom enriches the dialogues initiated by the faculty.
