Program Description:
This program in digital arts provides the means to master the new technologies that are reshaping how people interact, communicate, and create new forms of expression. The graduate digital arts program enables arts and designers to achieve mastery in the areas of digital animation and motion arts, interactive media, digital imaging, and emerging arts. The faculty is made up of professional practicing artists, designers, and scholars. Students may choose from interactive and online (web) media, emerging media, computer animation, and digital imaging. This 60 credit program may be completed in two-and-one-half to three calendar years.
Digital Imaging: this option employs digital and traditional media in the creation of multiple media imagery.
Digital Animation and Motion Arts: This option concerns itself with form and motion,k time-based narrative, and 2- and 3-D animation techniques.
Interactive Media concentrates on the design of computer-human interfaces and interactions through digital media including online (web) media and interactive artworks Emerging Arts provides students with the opportunity to experiment in new forms and mixed media.
