Program Description:
The program is designed to prepare individuals to perform counseling services in schools at all grade levels. Upon successful completion of requirements, candidates will be eligible for both the Master of Arts in Education (Counseling & Guidance Concentration) and the Pupil Personnel Services Credential. The Pupil Personnel Services-School Counseling Credential allows its holders to become school counselors in kindergarten through 12th grade and in adult education. Students who complete a Master of Arts in Education with a major in Counseling and Guidance are also eligible to perform counseling services in public and private institutions of higher education.
