Program Information

Degree Offered

Master of Education, Self-Designed option, Organizational Approaches to Transformation and Healing Graduate Certificate

Format: Campus

Program Description:

Plymouth State University's certificate in Organizational Approaches to Transformation and Healing (OATH) is a 12-credit (4 course) graduate certificate using interpersonal relationships, social responsibility, and self-reflection to challenge traditional models and examine the implications of emerging paradigms for organizational health.
During your studies, you'll learn about the integration of holistic approaches to leadership, and cultivate the qualities of a compassionate heart, open mind, and good intention. Through an examination of personal, organizational, and global contexts, you'll develop into an agent of change in your working environment.
You don't need to apply to PSU's College of Graduate Studies to complete this independent certificate. If you choose, however, to apply your OATH credits toward a self-designed master's degree or Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies, then you will need to complete the entire admissions process.

Accreditation:

Plymouth State University is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).

Eligibility Requirements:

Participation in the OATH certificate program does not require admission into the College of Graduate Studies. If you choose to apply your OATH credits toward a self-designed master's degree or Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies, then you will need to complete the entire application process.

International Student Requirements:

International OATH students must have proof of English level proficiency through either the TOEFL, IELTS, or ELS Level 112 scores. In addition, you must provide an I-134 Affidavit of Financial Support Form. Documents, including bank statements and other financial documents dated within the past 30 days, that confirm you have the financial resources to study for a year at Plymouth State must be submitted to the College of Graduate Studies. You must also include a copy of your valid passport with your application materials. Finally, you must also submit official, notarized transcripts, verifying that you've completed at least a baccalaureate degree, which must be translated into English and evaluated for institutional equivalency.
