M.S. - Occupational Therapy
Program Description:
This innovative weekend-format, entry-level master's degree program provides students with a unique perspective on the delivery of occupational therapy services by building on the University strengths in architecture, industrial, interior and fashion design, health sciences and business administration. Key program elements include: curriculum-wide focus on critical thinking, advocacy and occupation-based practice; in-depth learning about the person-environment-occupation fit; interdisciplinary projects with design students and professionals; distance education methods to augment classroom sessions; and, personalized mentoring by faculty and practicing occupational therapists.
Accreditation:
The M.S. in Occupational Therapy Program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA). The program was reaccredited for 10 years in 2008.
