The M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis on Science Education is designed to help educators extend their knowledge and skills in science teaching, science content, and science education research. The M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis on Literacy is designed for elementary, middle, and secondary teachers to become more effective in their classrooms. The M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis on Instructional Leadership helps educators develop the knowledge and leadership skills to improve staff development and instructional practices. The M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis on Children's Literature is designed for teachers and librarians, as well as aspiring and published writers and illustrators, who wish to improve strategies for reading and developing children's literature, meet career ladder and professional development requirements, or enhance their knowledge of children's literature by studying classic and contemporary authors and their writings.
